Corydalis is a low growing plant forming clumps or mounds of ferny foliage in delicate shades ranging from blue-green to bronze. During the spring and early summer, masses of tubular flowers are produced in light shades of yellow, pink or blue. Some varieties produce tubers but most grow from fibrous or fleshy rootstocks, all of which can be divided for propagation. Grows best in a semi-shaded position that does not get too dry.
